Communications has sponsored Buckfastleigh Rangers Youth
Football Team. The Under 15's, which have only been
established for two seasons, finished as runners up last year
and won the league in 2009. There trip to the USA saw five
games throughout the state, winning four and losing 1-0 to a
team of 17 year olds.

Breathing Spaces
The BBC's SWAT (Spring Watch Action Team) transformed Radford
Dip in Plymstock in a flurry of activity on June 7th .
David FitzGerald's BBC Radio Devon Saturday
morning show came from the old RAF site and over 100 people
turned up to help.
 
Breathing Places is a major BBC Learning campaign to inspire
and motivate people to create and care for 'nature-friendly'
green spaces and the former RAF site on White Lady Road was a
prime target. It has stood neglected for years but now been
handed back to nature and to the community.

Business Awards
 
Over 120 people packed into the Palace Hotel in Paignton
for the first of awards of their kind, hosted by David
FitzGerald.

TFB was brought in to source staging, photographic
expertise and has produced a DVD of the evening. They have
been retained to produce the show for next year.
