general knowledge at a great night out in support of Plymouth’s up-and-coming
Olympic and world athletes.
Team
Plymouth are holding a general knowledge quiz to raise funds for the Making A
Sporting Difference fund. The quiz is being held at Plymouth Pavilions. The
price for a team of six is just £60 which includes a fork buffet supper.
Making A
Sporting Difference helps aspiring athletes with the funding they need for
travelling, coaching and physio to qualify for national competitions and the
chance to represent Great Britain.
The
charity is run by Plymouth Sports Forum in conjunction with University College
Marjons and The Herald. Sponsors include Plymouth Nuffield Hospitals, Plymouth
Pavilions, Architects Design Group and Tell Systems.
The quiz
night is being sponsored by Plymouth Pavilions so as much of the ticket price
as possible goes to supporting athletes.
